Collectors lead Independence Day celebrations in Ariyalur, Karur

Collector P. Rathinasamy hoisted the nationwide flag on the event of Independence Day on Friday at a perform held on the District Sports Complex.

Accompanied by Superintendent of Police Vishwesh Balasubrmaniam Shastri, Mr. Rathinasamy inspected the parade and accepted the guard of honour offered by the Armed Reserve police personnel. He then launched pigeons and balloons on the event.

The Collector offered welfare help value ₹2.63 crore to 53 beneficiaries from numerous departments and felicitated 200 authorities officers and employees members in recognition of their service. He offered the Green Leader Award and a cheque of ₹1 lakh every and a certificates of appreciation to the buddies of Kumizhiyam Trees and Periyakurichi Government High School, offered by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forests, Government of Tamil Nadu.

380 officers feted

In a perform held on the District Sports Complex, Collector M. Thangavel hoisted the nationwide flag on the event of the 79th Independence Day in Karur on Friday.

Travelling on a embellished open automobile, he inspected and accepted the guard of honour by the Armed Reserve police personnel. Superintendent of Police Okay. Josh Thangaiah accompanied the Collector.

He offered shawls to the heirs of 62 freedom fighters as a mark of recollecting their service to the liberty battle. He distributed certificates of appreciation to 380 officers and employees members of assorted departments in recognition of their service.

Later, Mr. Thangavel participated within the grama sabha held at Baganathan and interacted with the residents of the village.
