Siddaramaiah justifies sanctioning 10 crore for Priyanka Gandhis Wayanad constituency

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday extolled the worth of generosity and humanity whereas endorsing allocating ₹10 crore for Wayanad flood affected folks in neighbouring Kerala.

BJP MLA C.N. Ashwath Narayan sought to know what the State authorities would do for Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kashmir which had been hit by cloud burst and big landslip.

In reply, Mr. Siddaramaiah mentioned the State authorities determined to assist Kerala for being Karnataka’s neighbouring State.

The subject led to a confrontation between the Congress and the BJP on Thursday.

The BJP took a swipe at Mr. Siddaramaiah by calling him the ‘Chief Minister of Kerala’ for displaying generosity in the direction of Wayanad.
