Electronic Kili is now gearing up for his first solo launch, Thalavara, through which he has tried to create a unique type of sound. “I spent loads of time on the music, round three months on the movie’s seven songs,” he says over the telephone.
While his music (movies and unbiased music) has a extra of an digital factor, he has tried retaining it easy for this film. The songs have a sure sluggish, previous world allure. He explains, “For instance, for the tune ‘Kand kand…’ I used the phrases as a hook for the music; I bought the phrases after which the tune.” The Tamil tune ‘Nila nila…’, from the movie, is just not his.
He began his profession with composer Ankit Menon, as music producer on Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. For somebody who claims he can’t sing, he is among the singers in Ankit’s composition ‘Machinmele…’ in Extra Decent, ‘the Flip Song’ from Maranamass and ‘the Jeppu Song’ from Sarkeet composed by Govind Vasantha. He is the co-composer and music arranger of Maranamass.
Like most younger creatives within the Malayalam movie trade, Electronic Kili took the engineering path to cinema. “I’ve all the time preferred music, I performed the keyboard. After engineering, I joined AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai to study music.” The musician says he’s extra within the composing half than singing.
This leads us to the inevitable query, Why Electronic Kili? “I used to be not likely considering of movies or one thing on the time. I simply wanted a reputation for my SoundCloud profile.” And the title simply caught.
