Residents have raised complaints over the delay within the building of bridges throughout the town, and have demanded that the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) expedite and full the work earlier than the Northeast monsoon.

T. Nagar resident V.S. Jayaraman stated the delay in finishing the development of a bridge on Usman Road, which was alleged to be prepared final yr, would have an effect on monsoon preparedness within the neighbourhoods.
