M. Vellaiyan, president, MKU Colleges and Constituent Colleges Guest Lecturers Association, stated they introduced a week-long protest elevating numerous calls for and had been observing the protest for the final three days. “But, regardless of our demonstration, the Principal failed to reply to our calls for and didn’t even name us for talks,” he added.
The visitor lecturers have been elevating fundamental calls for akin to cost of wage as per University Grants Commission’s order, cost of pending Employees’ Provident Fund, wage hike for hourly foundation employees and bathroom services for the employees on the faculty, he said.
Mr. Vellaiyan requested if the school administration couldn’t even take heed to their livelihood calls for then why would they spend their power and information within the faculty.
Infuriated by the “torpid angle” of the school administration, the affiliation members determined to dam the Principal’s workplace, he stated.
“As introduced, they blocked the Principal’s workplace, however following assurance by the Principal on obligatory motion, they dispersed from the spot and determined to droop their protest,” he famous.
The affiliation members would wait until the month-end for any motion by the school administration, and if no actions have been taken even after that, their additional choices could be introduced, he added.
