CM praises Kerala Police for main in regulation enforcement, social accountability

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday lauded the Kerala Police for going past their conventional position of sustaining regulation and order by actively contributing to constructing a greater society via progressive and socially dedicated initiatives.

Speaking on the inauguration of a two-day alumni meet of the Student Police Cadet (SPC) and Helping Others Promote Education (HOPE) tasks, carried out by the Kerala Police, right here on Monday, Mr. Vijayan highlighted the success of those initiatives as exemplary fashions of police-led social transformation.

“Projects corresponding to HOPE and the SPC are robust examples of how the police can form a greater society, not simply by implementing regulation and order, however by taking accountability to uplift lives and instil civic values,” he stated.

Reintegrating kids

Launched in 2017, the HOPE challenge goals at reintegrating kids aged underneath 18 who’ve dropped out of faculty or failed exams again into the formal schooling system. As of the 2024–25 educational yr, 1,426 college students have resumed their research underneath the challenge.
