Sri Sathya Sai police launch initiative to sort out crimes in opposition to girls, minors

In order to sort out crimes in opposition to girls and minors, Sri Sathya Sai police on Sunday launched a district-wide initiative to watch offenders and provides them counselling, and warning them of strict motion for repeat violations.

Speaking to the media, after conducting a counselling session for recognized offenders concerned in crimes in opposition to girls, Superintendent of Police (SP) S. Satish Kumar instructed the police personnel in all of the sub-divisions to maintain shut watch on rowdy-sheeters and people booked for harassment, assault and sexual crimes. “Such offenders ought to be mandatorily summoned to the world police stations each Sunday for counselling periods, the prime goal of which is to convey behavioural modifications in them,” the SP mentioned.

The SP mentioned that on the opening day, counselling periods had been carried out in any respect sub-divisions and circles. “Offenders had been warned in opposition to stalking school and school-going ladies, harassing girls in public locations, and indulging in indecent behaviour.
