Mr. Scorsese trailer: Legendary auteurs lifelong seek for that means

Apple TV has launched the trailer for Mr. Scorsese, a five-part documentary sequence from director Rebecca Miller that examines the life, profession, and artistic obsessions of legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese. The sequence may have its world premiere this Saturday within the Spotlight part of the New York Film Festival, forward of its October 17 streaming debut.

The docuseries blends never-before-seen archival footage with intimate interviews from Scorsese and a few of his closest collaborators. Appearing within the sequence are longtime display companions Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Leonardo DiCaprio, in addition to Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Cate Blanchett, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Jay Cocks, and Rodrigo Prieto.
