Talking to reporters after holding a gathering, organised by the Congress, with leaders from Backward Classes, Mr. Sudarshan stated the assertion of Mr. Joshi was uncalled for. Despite understanding the intention behind the continued survey, Mr. Joshi brazenly known as for boycotting the survey and thus misguided individuals.
The ongoing survey is to check the situation of Backward and different castes, which is able to assist authorities to plot welfare schemes for his or her improvement. To make Backward Class communities realise the significance of the survey, Mr. Sudarshan stated Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has arrange committees headed by Ministers Madhu Bangarappa, Santosh Lad, N.S. Boseraju, and Byrathi Suresh for Mysuru, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, and Bengaluru areas respectively. These committees will maintain conferences and conventions with Backward Class neighborhood leaders to drum up assist for the continued survey.
