The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Friday ordered a CB-CID probe into the dying of Dinesh Kumar, 31, a Scheduled Caste youth, in Madurai.

It is claimed that the routine offender, who reportedly escaped from Madurai metropolis police custody, died after leaping right into a canal at Vandiyur on Thursday morning.
