Congress slams Harish for his feedback on Gulf employees welfare

Former MLA and Telangana Mineral Development Corporation (TGMDC) Chairman Anil Kumar Eravathri mentioned that BRS MLA and former minister T. Harish Rao must face the wrath of the Gulf migrants for the irresponsible feedback made towards the State authorities on the difficulty of welfare of the employees.

He was reacting to Mr. Rao’s allegations that the Central and State governments had failed to offer any aid to the Gulf victims, regardless of repeated pleas stating that employees, largely from Nirmal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Jagtial and Siddipet districts, had been stranded within the Gulf nations as there was no assist from the governments.

Telangana’s NRI Advisory Committee chairman BM Vinod Kumar questioned why Mr. Harish Rao, who served as finance minister, is now saying that not a single rupee has been allotted for the welfare of Gulf employees by the Congress authorities. Committee members Chennamaneni Srinivasa Rao, Nangi Devender Reddy and NRI Advisory Committee Vice Chairman Manda Bheem Reddy demanded that Mr. Harish Rao apologise to the Gulf employees.
