Tamil Nadu relaxes norms to profit inexperienced, white class industries in peri-urban village panchayat areas

The State Government has relaxed sure norms beneath the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules, 2019, to profit inexperienced and white class industries in peri-urban village panchayat and village panchayat areas throughout the State.

As per the recent amendments to the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules, 2019, the minimal highway width for inexperienced and white class industries in peri-urban village panchayat and village panchayat areas has been lowered from 7 metres to six metres.

However, the minimal highway width required for all classes — together with the inexperienced and white class industries positioned in company/municipality/city panchayat areas — would proceed to be 7 metres, based on the G.O. issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department.

Even in peri-urban village panchayat or village panchayat areas, the minimal highway width for orange and crimson class industries would proceed to be 7 metres. The order benefiting inexperienced, white class industries in peri-urban village panchayat areas was issued final week.
