ED conducts searches at seven locations in T.N. following arrest of Sresan Pharma proprietor

Officers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are conducting searches at seven places in Tamil Nadu following the arrest of G. Ranganathan, proprietor of Sresan Pharma, in reference to the deaths of a number of kids in Madhya Pradesh after consuming the corporate’s Coldrif cough syrup.

Ranganathan, 75, proprietor of the Kancheepuram-based Sresan Pharmaceuticals, was arrested final week in Kodambakkam, Chennai, by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Madhya Pradesh on costs of producing contaminated cough syrup that led to the deaths of twenty-two kids within the State.
