    JMM to contest Bihar polls independently, area candidates in six seats

    Jharkhand’s ruling JMM on Saturday (October 18, 2025) introduced that it’s going to contest the Bihar Assembly polls independently, and area candidates in six seats.

    Elections to 243 seats of the Bihar Assembly might be held on November 6 and November 11, and the votes might be counted on November 14.

    Congress fields 5 extra candidates for Bihar polls

    The Congress Election Committee (CEC) on Saturday (October 18, 2025) launched its second record comprising 5 candidates for the Bihar Assembly election.
