TN coach M. Senthilnathan and his Nagaland counterpart Debashish Mohanty shared their ideas on the match.
“This wasn’t the consequence we wished. We have been hoping for one thing higher. But that’s how the sport is. The wicket was actually good, even on the final day. I believe it is a truthful consequence. Also, Nagaland actually utilized themselves properly and fought arduous,” Senthilnathan instructed The Hindu.
“People may be shocked to see Nagaland put up such a combat, however it’s a must to give them credit score. The left-hander (Imliwati Lemtur) confirmed grit,” added Senthilnathan.
Mohanty added: “We performed rather well. Honestly, should you ask me, the boys confirmed nice character, particularly enjoying in opposition to Tamil Nadu — a giant staff, clearly.”
“After that preliminary collapse (31 for 4), to come back again from there required quite a lot of character. Degal Nischal and Imliwati, particularly, and in addition Yugandhar Singh — a younger man — all confirmed nice combat,” added Mohanty.
“Imliwati’s innings put TN underneath strain. Nischal was holding one finish, and when Imli began scoring freely, they didn’t count on that. When a No. 7 batter from Nagaland begins counterattacking the highest bowlers, naturally, they felt the strain.”
“The largest constructive was the appliance the boys confirmed. That was actually exceptional. Of course, there are areas we have to work on — primarily fielding and bowling. But total, I’m fairly pleased with how issues are shaping up.”
