The Congress on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over U.S. President Donald Trump repeating his declare that he stopped the battle between India and Pakistan utilizing commerce, and mentioned “no wonder” the American chief’s good buddy in New Delhi “does not want to hug him anymore”.

Congress normal secretary in control of communications, Jairam Ramesh, shared on X (previously Twitter) a video clip of Mr. Trump’s remarks in Japan, during which he reiterated his declare that he had stopped the India-Pakistan army battle utilizing commerce.
