Indian-origin Ghazala Hashmi wins Virginia Lieutenant Governor election

India-born American politician Ghazala Hashmi has been elected as Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor, changing into the primary Muslim and South Asian American to be elected to the highest political put up within the State.
