The grievance, filed by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief and Rajasthan High Court advocate Inder Mohan Singh Honey, seeks a ban on such commercials. Following the grievance, the Kota Consumer Court has issued notices to the actor and sought a proper response.
According to his grievance, the corporate manufacturing Rajshree Pan Masala and its model ambassador, actor Salman Khan, have been engaged in deceptive promoting by selling the product as containing “saffron-infused cardamom” and “saffron-infused pan masala.” The petitioner questioned the credibility of those claims, arguing that saffron, which prices practically Rs 4 lakh per kilogram, can not logically be an ingredient in a product priced at Rs 5.
The grievance additional said that such deceptive commercials affect younger folks to eat pan masala, which is linked to an rising variety of most cancers instances.
“The firm, Rajshree Pan Masala and its model ambassador, actor Salman Khan, declare that the product comprises saffron and encourages the youth to eat it.
