A 20-member crew led by Director-General of Police (CID) Ravi Shankar Ayyanar will begin the probe by observing and understanding the best way through which the Parakamani (the counting of cash, foreign money notes and choices made into the Hundi) features. The CID is predicted to check the potential function of the previous TTD officers, belief board members, police personnel, Parakamani workers and the supervisors allotted by the Jeeyar Mutt, who’re mentioned to have been concerned within the situation.
The CID can even study the scope of the irregularities allegedly occurred and if the due diligence was adopted.
Mr. Ayyanar mentioned the probe, which was launched on the behest of the High Court, would intently research the Parakamani operations, supervision by the directors, CCTV data, monetary statements and the properties donated to the TTD.
Efforts are on to hint the primary accused, C.V. Ravi Kumar, who represented the Jeeyar Mutt and had been related to the establishment since 1980.
