Mr. Subramanian, together with Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration P. Moorthy and Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, inaugurated Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) scan, value ₹50 lakh, at Government Rajaji Hospital right here on Monday.
Speaking to journalists, he stated, “On December 17, 2018, the institution of AIIMS hospitals was introduced in seven States, together with Punjab, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The Union authorities introduced funding for six locations. For Tamil Nadu alone, 85% of the funding was to return from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) by way of an ODA (Official Development Assistance) mortgage, and15% from the Union authorities,” he said.
