Officers aware of the investigation stated that the investigating group submitted a plea earlier than the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (CJM) for TIP within the case. The CJM assigned JM-I to conduct the TIP, which is predicted to happen in a few days.
Coimbatore City Police Commissioner A. Saravana Sundar stated the date for the TIP has not been mounted and the Justice of the Peace involved would conduct it in the end of time.
Police sources stated that the three accused within the case, T. Karuppasamy alias Satheesh (30), his brother T. Kaleeswaran alias Karthik (21) and M. Guna alias Thavasi (20), must get well from the gunshots they suffered on their legs through the arrest on November 3, to be paraded for TIP.
Meanwhile, the gang-rape case has been transferred from the Second Judicial Magistrate Court, which is the jurisdictional courtroom of Peelamedu station the place the case was registered, to the Additional Mahila Court as it’s case of crime in opposition to a lady.
One-way room prepared in jail

Police sources added that the Justice of the Peace will conduct separate TIPs for the 20-year-old survivor and her boyfriend aged 25.
