The Devil trailer: Darshan is a hero and villain in Prakash Veers actioner

The makers of The Devil have released the trailer for the movie. Starring Darshan, the Kannada actioner is directed by Prakash Veer.

The movie is set to hit the screens on December 11, 2025. The Devil is set for a grand opening even as Darshan remains in prison for the alleged murder of Chitradurga resident Renukaswamy.

The trailer shows Darshan in an evil avatar. Touted to be an action thriller, the film appears to also have a political sub-plot. Darshan’s character calls himself Devil but nothing much is revealed about him. In one scene, his character is addressed as Dhanush.

Speculations are rife that the actor is set to play a dual role. Going by the trailer, it is apparent that Darshan plays a character with multiple shades. The trailer has a series of elevation shots, showcasing Darshan in a stylish manner.

Rachana Rai, Achyuth Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar and Sharmiela Mandre are the other actors in the movie. The movie is produced by J Jayamma of Shri Jaimatha Combines in association with Saregama Yodlee Films. Thashwini Veer is the executive producer.

While Prakash has written the script, Kantharaj SS has penned the dialogues for the movie. The duo Ram-Lakshman has choreographed the action sequences of The Devil. Santhu Master has choreographed the dance numbers while Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer. Harish Komme is the editor and Mohan B Kere is the art director.
