Mega job fair to be held in the Nilgiris on December 20

A mega job fair organised by the Nilgiris District Administration, the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre and the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission will be held from December 20, 2025 (Saturday) at the Government Arts College in Udhagamandalam.

In a press release, the district administration stated that over 100 leading private sector companies from various districts, including Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur and the Nilgiris will be participating in the job fair where up to 10,000 people can potentially be hired for various vacancies.

“Candidates with all educational qualifications from class V to XII, graduates, diploma holders, ITI, computer operators and drivers can participate in this camp without any fee. All interested job seekers in Nilgiris district are requested to participate in this employment camp and benefit from it. Job seekers who are interested in participating in the camp should register in advance on the website www.tnprivatejobs.tn.gov.in,” a press release from the district administration stated.

Private sector companies from the Nilgiris district were also invited to participate in the job fair and recruit employees for their organisations. The companies too can register their company details on the above-mentioned website, it was stated.
