Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Mysuru Lok Sabha MP, said that his focus is not only on receiving public grievances but also according priority for their time-bound solutions.

The MP addressed the gathering after holding public outreach meetings at Naganahalli village, Belavatta community hall, and Basaveshwara Temple premises at Alanahalli, all under the Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency, on January 7.

He said the public contact programmes help him connect directly with the people and understand their issues. “I will visit every panchayat to assess local problems and prioritise resolving them quickly,” he said.

Mr. Wadiyar said several representations have been received regarding railway facilities, road infrastructure, school development and KSRTC bus services. “Steps will be taken to address these issues. Officials have been directed to provide on-the-spot relief and some issues were addressed in the outreach meetings,” he added.

Stressing accountability, Mr. Wadiyar said officials have been directed to act promptly on complaints submitted by citizens. “If required, I will personally visit departments and offices to follow up,” he added.

While noting that the Prime Minister is working for the welfare of the people, the MP alleged that the State government has been neglecting public concerns. “Therefore, the responsibility of resolving people’s problems rests with me,” he said, promising that public outreach meetings will be organised more frequently.

BJP city president Nagendra, general secretary Raghu, and other leaders were present.

On the occasion, former Zilla Panchayat member Dinesh welcomed the MP’s visit and appreciated his efforts.
