Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara discounts: Will I get any offers on this SUV in January 2026?

Updated on: Jan 16, 2026 06:12 pm IST

Yes, there are discounts on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in January 2026, but they are currently limited to select variants.

Maruti Suzuki is offering benefits on the base Sigma variant of the Grand Vitara this month. The entry-level trim gets a consumer offer of 25,000, along with an additional scrappage benefit of up to 35,000. With both offers applied, the effective ex-showroom price of the Sigma variant comes down from 10.77 lakh to around 10.17 lakh.

Are there discounts on other variants as well?

As of now, there is no official communication from the brand regarding discounts on the higher variants of the Grand Vitara. That said, dealer-level offers can vary by location, so it would be advisable to check with a nearby Nexa dealership for any additional benefits or exchange schemes that may be available.

What engine and fuel options does the Grand Vitara offer?

The Grand Vitara is offered with petrol, strong-hybrid, and CNG powertrain options. The trim lineup includes Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.

The petrol version is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine producing 101 hp and 139 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. An all-wheel-drive option is also offered, but only with the petrol manual variant.

What about the strong-hybrid setup?

The strong-hybrid versions use a 1.5-litre petrol engine running on the Atkinson cycle, paired with an electric motor. Combined system output stands at 113 hp and 141 Nm, and this setup is available exclusively with a CVT.

Current price range across variants

Petrol variants of the Grand Vitara are priced between 10.76 lakh and 18.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Strong-hybrid versions are priced from 16.63 lakh to 19.72 lakh, while CNG variants start at 12.99 lakh and go up to 14.75 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

So, should you buy now?

If you are considering the base Sigma variant, January 2026 does offer some tangible savings. For other variants, availability of discounts will largely depend on dealership-level negotiations.
