The Poco X8 Pro has not been officially announced by the company yet, but recent certifications and leaks suggest an imminent launch, possibly in March 2026. The phone has appeared on multiple certification websites, including BIS (India), RRA (South Korea), and NBTC (Thailand).

Rumors and leaks from sources such as HyperOS 3 code suggest the 

Poco X8 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5, with some potential specification changes for the global market. A “Max” variant, the Poco X8 Pro Max, is also expected to launch. 

  • Display: The Poco X8 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1268×2756 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to offer a high peak brightness of 3500 nits.
  • Processor: It will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, which is a slight upgrade from the previous generation’s chipset.
  • RAM/Storage: Multiple configurations are expected, including 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage.
  • Camera: The device is tipped to have a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is expected to be a 20MP shooter.
  • Battery & Charging: The phone is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
  • Build: Leaks indicate a robust build with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and a metal frame. It is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Expected Launch & Pricing

The Poco X8 series launch appears to be imminent, with a rumored launch timeline in March 2026 for the Max variant, followed shortly by the standard Pro model.

  • Europe Pricing: According to information inadvertently listed on a Xiaomi website in Europe, the Poco X8 Pro could be priced around EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 43,000) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
  • India Pricing: In India, the Poco X8 Pro is anticipated to be priced above Rs. 30,000.
