Senior Hamas chief Mohammed Sinwar killed in Gaza airstrike by Israel: Benjamin Netanyahu


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that senior Hamas chief Mohammed Sinwar was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. Sinwar, a key mastermind of the October 7, 2023 assault—was named by Netanyahu in an inventory of Hamas figures eradicated by Israeli forces.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday stated that senior Hamas chief Mohammed Sinwar has been killed in an Israeli airstrike within the Gaza Strip, showing to substantiate his demise for the primary time.

Speaking in parliament, Netanyahu named Sinwar amongst a number of Hamas leaders eradicated in latest Israeli operations. Mohammed Sinwar was the brother of Yahya Sinwar, the highest Hamas commander believed to have masterminded the October 7, 2023 assault on Israel. Yahya was reportedly killed by Israeli forces final 12 months.
