Naidu urges Gadkari to offer speedy clearance to Vizag and Vijayawada metro rail initiatives

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari to offer speedy clearance to the Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada metro rail initiatives, whereas promising to do what all is required from the State for the graceful implementation of the freeway initiatives.

The State authorities would make sure that land acquisition points didn’t hamper the highway initiatives that have been essential for improvement, Mr. Naidu informed Mr. Gadkari, whereas thanking him for sanctioning eight highway initiatives, together with a greenfield freeway between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, the overall price of which was about ₹27,000 crore.

Addressing a gathering the place Mr. Gadkari nearly laid basis for 27 highway initiatives and inaugurated two initiatives on Saturday, Mr. Naidu stated he was completely happy that the Union Minister agreed to suggest the sanction of an Outer Ring Road (ORR) round Amaravati.
