Dilapidated college constructing in Tiruverumbur poses hazard to college students

The Panchayat Union Elementary School constructing at Ayyampatti, situated within the Tiruverumbur block of Tiruchi district, is in a harmful situation, elevating severe issues concerning the security of its college students and employees.

Constructed in 1962, the college as soon as used to draw college students from the encircling areas and boasted a energy of over 60. However, over the previous 15 years, the college has seen a gentle decline in pupil energy. At current, solely seven college students have been enrolled — 4 in Class 3, two in Class 1, and one in Class 4 — with no enrolment in Classes 2 and 5.

The college now operates with simply two school rooms, lacks a compound wall, and has no practical bathroom amenities for both college students or lecturers. The constructing’s roof is in poor situation and susceptible to wreck throughout the wet season, prompting fears amongst mother and father that the construction might collapse in heavy rain.
