Bengal Guv instructs Mamata to hold emergency cabinet meeting over complaints against Kolkata Police chief

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has directed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to convene an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss pressing issues currently affecting the state, according to a statement released by Raj Bhawan, Kolkata. The Governor’s directive comes in the wake of mounting public complaints, particularly against Kolkata Police Commissioner, which require immediate government attention.
