India’s utility-vehicle market posted healthy gains in November 2025, with Maruti Suzuki leading the segment and Mahindra & Mahindra following close behind. Take a look at the details of this report below:

Maruti Suzuki led India’s utility vehicle segment in November 2025 as UV demand remained strong across the top five manufacturers.

Hyundai holds third place

Brief look at the rest of the pack

The next five manufacturers posted modest to mixed performances in November 2025. Honda Cars India sold 1,781 UVs (slightly up year-on-year as the Elevate contributes gradually). Nissan’s UV domestic sales were 1,908, down from 2,342 a year earlier, as its UV line-up remains limited. Renault India posted 3,215 UV sales, Skoda Auto India recorded 4,277, and Stellantis (Jeep) reported 1,224, each showing different pockets of demand across small-SUV and crossover niches.

Exports

UV exports also showed momentum in November 2025. Maruti Suzuki led UV exports for the month with 26,022 units. Other notable UV exporters in November included Toyota with 3,667 units exported, Nissan with 3,445, Kia that exported 3,004 and Hyundai with 2,031 units.

Overall, the country’s UV exports in November 2025 stood at 42,993 units, contributing to a cumulative April–November 2025–26 export total of 2,88,242 UVs, a sign of India’s growing role as a production and export hub for compact and midsize SUVs.
