The Income Tax Department’s efforts to match knowledge obtained from different international locations, together with Switzerland, with earnings tax returns (ITRs) filed in India has resulted in taxpayers reporting further international property price ₹29,208 crore and extra international earnings of ₹1,089.88 crore, the federal government mentioned. 

In an announcement issued on Friday night, the Ministry of Finance additionally sought to handle some allegations on social media that the black cash of Indians saved in Swiss banks had ballooned.
