The passengers have been stranded within the Mongolian capital after their San Francisco-Delhi flight was diverted to Ulaanbaatar on Monday (November 3, 2025) owing to a technical difficulty.
An official mentioned Air India’s reduction flight carrying the passengers from Ulaanbaatar landed within the nationwide capital at round 8:24 a.m. on Wednesday (November 5, 2025).
The reduction flight AI183, operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, had taken off for Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday afternoon (November 4, 2025).
“There have been 245 folks, together with 228 passengers and 17 crew members, within the Boeing 777 aircraft that was diverted to Ulaanbaatar,” a supply mentioned on Monday (November 3, 2025).
