On August 22, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice C.. M. Joshi gave this clarification when the A-G complained that aggregators, like Uber, Ola and Rapido, have began providing bike taxis on their platforms though the court docket had not given any such a liberty to them.
“You can take any motion as per legislation in opposition to them [aggregators],” the bench orally informed the A-G whereas reiterating that it had requested the authorities ‘to not harass’ bike taxi house owners or drivers.
