Bigg Boss Kannada studio unsealed after DCM D.Ok. Shivakumar steps in, filming resumes

The Bengaluru South district authorities eliminated the seal on Vels Studios and Entertainment Pvt Ltd internet hosting Bigg Boss Kannada (BBK) 12 version within the wee hours of Thursday (October 9, 2025) following Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.Ok. Shivakumar’s intervention.

The premises was locked by the district authorities on the instructions of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, which stated the studio has been working with out acquiring needed licences in violation of setting norms set by the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
