Chatha Pacha trailer: Roshan Mathew, Arjun Ashokan lead a high-energy wrestling drama

The trailer of Roshan Mathew and Arjun Ashokan starrer Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies was unveiled by the makers on January 15, 2026. Directed by Adhvaith Nayar and written by Sanoop Thykoodam, the film also stars Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in pivotal roles.

The trailer opens with a wrestling match where two spectators talk about the announcement being made in English. A bunch of friends passionate about American wrestling decide to start something similar in their region. “Costume wrestling is full of drama,” one of them remarks. They start the preparations while not being taken seriously by others around. Soon, they build their own wrestling ring which gets a host of lively spectators.

Roshan’s character is Vetri, who gets out of prison and vows to stay away from trouble just to live peacefully with his daughter. However, he gets caught up in the wrestling game. The film promises to be a high-octane comedy actioner with a vibrant music.

The film features music composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and the background score designed by Mujeeb Majeed. It has been shot by Anend C Chandran and edited by Praveen Prabhakar.

Chatha Pacha is produced by Shihan Shoukath and Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan. The film will be released in theatres on January 22 in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.
