The cleanliness drive was carried out underneath the supervision of Dilip Namboodiri, Deputy Commandant of CISF Unit, at Tiruchi airport. The collaborating CISF personnel devoted an hour to rejuvenate the native park to advertise the concept that clear public areas have been important for group well being and well-being.
The cleanliness drive was a tribute to the Father of the Nation whose imaginative and prescient of a Clean India impressed the nation-wide Swachh Bharat Mission, a launch stated.
Cleanliness Drives in Tiruchi Division
The Tiruchi Railway Division organised a particular cleanliness drive on Thursday at Tiruchi, Villupuram, Puducherry, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam railway stations.
The particular drive was a part of the Division’s fortnight -long cleanliness marketing campaign from September 17 to October 2 themed ‘Celebrating Cleanliness and Community Participation’.
The Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi, Balak Ram Negi spearheaded the drive close to the parcel workplace on the extra entry aspect of the Tiruchi railway junction wherein all department officers, employees and sanitary staff participated.
Mr. Balak Ram Negi later felicitated all Safai Karamcharis (sanitary staff) and lauded their efforts in holding the station premises clear round the clock, a press launch from the Tiruchi Division stated.
