Chief Minister #Rekha Gupta on Wednesday referred to as for an intensive inquiry and demanded that the ₹1.04 crore spent by the earlier #Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) authorities on a British-era “pretend” ‘phansi-ghar’ (execution room) on the Delhi Assembly be recovered from former Chief Minister #Arvind Kejriwal.

Terming the transfer a “deception of individuals” and an “insult to martyrs”, Ms. Gupta stated the set up was primarily based on no official documentation and primarily a repurposed “tiffin room” falsely portrayed as a historic phansi-ghar to mislead the general public.

During a dialogue within the Assembly, she stated an FIR ought to be registered towards Mr. Kejriwal and the construction be eliminated earlier than  August 25.

AAP legislator #Sanjeev Jha stated many execution rooms from the British period should not formally recorded and accused the ruling social gathering of “standing with the British”.
