Participating in the programme as the chief guest, Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) Director Abraham Varughese highlighted the application of ‘digital twins’, emphasising their role in real-time system monitoring, predictive analysis and decision making. He elaborated on emerging trends in Quantum Computing and their impact on advanced engineering and defence technologies.
AU College of Engineering (AUCE) Principal Sasi Bhushan explained the use of high spectral imaging techniques for testing high-resolution soil properties and advanced materials. He elaborated on precise bubble curtain and bubble shielding technologies used in underwater systems, particularly their application in submarines to enhance speed and operational efficiency.
As part of the inaugural, the official Souvenir of the DMEAITS–2025 National Conference was released. The souvenir includes research articles, expert messages, and important information related to the conference.
Expert speakers participated in five sessions conducted on the first day of the conference.
The conference was organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Government Polytechnic, Visakhapatnam, with K. Narayana Rao serving as the coordinator, and Raju Chitla (senior lecturer) and Bharani Maroju (lecturer) as co-coordinators.
