Alleging a number of Ministers have been amassing wealth, AIADMK normal secretary Edappadi Ok. Palaniswami on Thursday stated the AIADMK, if voted to energy, would register circumstances towards the corrupt and no wrongdoer could be spared.

Addressing a gathering in Karur as a part of his Statewide tour, he alleged that the ruling DMK males had threatened a number of quarry homeowners throughout the State to pay hefty fee for mining each tonne of m-sand and p-sand. He stated they have been threatened that they’d not be capable to mine and transport m-sand and different quarry supplies if they didn’t pay ₹100 per tonne.

According to him, a number of lakhs of tonnes of m-sand, p-sand, and blue metallic have been mined in several components of the State each month. “It was a giant scandal. Fake circumstances have been being registered towards the transporters, who didn’t heed to the menace,” Mr. Palaniswami stated. He alleged that the DMK had deliberate to make use of the ill-gotten wealth to purchase voters within the 2026 Assembly elections.

The Leader of the Opposition alleged that a number of Ministers had been dealing with critical corruption prices. Various businesses, together with the Directorate of Enforcement, had carried out searches on the premises of Ministers. Quite a few circumstances have been pending. “They couldn’t escape from the circumstances,” he stated.

Taking a dig at Chief Minister M.Ok. Stalin for lavishing reward on Karur MLA and former Minister V. Senthilbalaji, he stated previously as Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Stalin levelled critical corruption prices towards Mr. Senthilbalaj, who was dealing with corruption circumstances. Now, he was praising him.

The folks would unseat the DMK from energy for his or her wrongdoings, he added.
