CM Gupta visited each nook and nook of the workplace, cleared e-waste, disposed of outdated posters and information, and swept the soiled space utilizing a brush.
“There was a fire at this building in 2021 yet no repairs were carried out,” she added.
Hitting out on the earlier AAP authorities in Delhi, she stated they “spent crores of rupees on building Sheesh Mahal” however didn’t do something to enhance the situation of presidency workplaces.
“Today, looking at the condition of this office, I am saddened. From today, we will begin the process for a new Secretariat, where all departments can be housed. We will identify a site for building a new Secretariat,” she added.
Talking concerning the marketing campaign, she stated it started with all departments cleansing their workplaces.
“We removed e-waste, old files and junk that was lying here. We also need to relook at rules governing tenders for waste removal,” she stated.
