He was talking because the chief visitor in a programme organised at Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education in Vijayawada on Monday (September 15, 2025), to mark the start anniversary of well-known Indian civil engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, which can be celebrated because the National Engineer’s Day.
Citing examples of his earlier tasks equivalent to Nagarjuna Sagar, Srisailam, Thungabadra dam, and different irrigation works, he motivated college students to uphold values of self-discipline, dedication, and duty.
Experts current on the programme recalled the historic contributions of engineers in irrigation tasks and industrial progress and made particular references to tasks equivalent to Himayatsagar Dam and Srisailam Dam, which stand as monuments of engineering excellence in India.
Siddhartha Academy president M. Rajayya appreciated the position of civil and mechanical engineers. Vice-Chancellor, P.
