Members of the Visakhapatnam Apartment Resident Welfare Association (VARWA) and Greater Visakha Residents Colony Association Federation (Nivas) on Thursday raised questions over the credibility of the research excursions being undertaken by the corporators of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC). They additionally demanded that reviews from the earlier three research excursions be made public.

Mr B.B. Ganesh from VARWA, stated that 82 corporators have gone on a research tour this 12 months to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Delhi and some different locations which embrace Ajmer and Pushkar. This is the fourth consecutive research tour undertaken by the corporators. In 2022 they visited Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Chandigarh and Agra, in 2023, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir they usually travelled to Coimbatore, Mysuru and Bangalore in 2024. So far, the reviews of the previous excursions haven’t been positioned for dialogue within the council.
