Homebound tells the story of two childhood pals, Shoaib (Ishaan) and Chandan (Vishal) who chase a police job that guarantees them dignity however are trapped in India’s brutal socio-political actuality. The movie relies on journalist Basharat Peer’s 2020 New York Times article, ‘Taking Amrit Home’. It is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and legendary Hollywood director Martin Scorsese serves as the manager producer together with Pravin Khairnar.
