Hong Kong professor outlines developments in surgical strategies

Tracing the evolution of esophageal most cancers surgical procedure through the years, Simon Law, chairperson of the Department of Surgery, Cheung Kung-Hai Professor in Gastrointestinal Surgery, chair and chief, Division of Esophageal and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong, highlighted the numerous developments in strategies and outcomes, and the sector’s evolution from palliation to personalised healing remedy.

Delivering the “Professor S.M. Chandramohan Oration for the 12 months 2025” on “Esophageal Cancer Surgery — What Have I Learned?” on Friday, he mirrored on his experiences in esophageal most cancers surgical procedure over the previous three many years.
