Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, recognized for his mastery of thrillers reminiscent of Andhadhun and Merry Christmas, is venturing into new territory with Ikkis — a battle drama impressed by the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee. The first look of the movie, unveiled by Maddock Films, introduces Agastya Nanda within the lead function.

Sharing two hanging posters on social media, the studio captioned: “Woh ikkis ka tha, ikkis ka hello rahega.” One picture exhibits Agastya manning a battle tank, whereas one other captures him in uniform, embodying the braveness of the 21-year-old soldier who laid down his life through the 1971 Battle of Basantar.
