IMD points purple alert in Kasaragod, Kannur

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a purple alert for Kasaragod and Kannur districts, whereas an orange alert has been issued for Kozhikode and Wayanad, anticipating reasonable to heavy rainfall on July 20.
