Kaantha teaser: Dulquer Salmaan and Samuthirakanis turbulent bond sparks chaos on set

#Dulquer Salmaan handled his followers with the highly-awaited teaser of his upcoming movie Kaantha on his forty second birthday on Monday (July 29, 2025). The Tamil and Telugu bilingual movie Kaantha is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and stars #Samuthirakani and Bhagyashri Borse within the lead roles, together with Dulquer.

The two-minute and twelve-second teaser options an estranged relationship between a father and son, portrayed by #Samuthirakani and Duqluer, respectively. The teaser begins with the studio announcement of the movie, titled ‘Saantha’, which is the primary Tamil horror movie.

In the movie, #Samuthirakani performs the position of a director whereas Dulquer portrays the character of a famous person within the Tamil movie trade. Leading ‘Saantha’ is Dulquer, a famous person who has been skilled all his life by his father (#Samuthirakani) to be in movies, as per the teaser.

However, as time passes, Dulquer and #Samuthirakani appear to develop an unexplained animosity in the direction of one another. In the teaser, #Samuthirakani is seen choking and throwing chairs at Dulquer.

The film is collectively produced by #Dulquer Salmaan and #Rana Daggubati below the banner of Wayfarer Films and Spirit Media. The movie’s music consists by Jhanu Chanthar.
