Sharing his first response, Mohanlal described the award as each a private milestone and a second of pleasure for Malayalam cinema. “I’m grateful to the movie household and the viewers who made me what I’m right now. This award is a recognition I can provide again to those that have beloved me all through my 48-year cinema profession,” he stated.

The actor added that he accepted the honour with “utmost pleasure,” remembering his mother and father, mentors, and fellow artists who formed his journey. The award can be formally introduced to him by the President of India at a ceremony in Delhi on September 23.
