Officials suspect that the age of the construction may have been the trigger for the accident.
Water provide to be hit
Drinking water provide can be disrupted in a number of components of the Kochi Corporation following the incident.
According to KWA, water provide can be disrupted in areas from Vyttila to Petta and Thammanam to Cherannallur. The pumping to the previous areas was slated to happen on Tuesday, which can be affected following the incident.
KWA is contemplating finishing up restore works as the opposite chamber of the tank stays undamaged.
Water provide within the Vennala area is not going to be affected because the pumping there’s being carried out by an 85 lakh-litre ground-level reservoir at Thammanam.
